2010 February #NWITweetup Teams Up with Blog Indiana in Valparaiso

It’s official, the February 2010 #NWITweetup will be done in conjunction with Blog Indiana!

This time, the Blog Indiana event will be held in Valparaiso, IN on Wednesday, February 24th at 7pm in the Golden Tech Boiler Room with none other than Finn’s bromance, Douglas Karr!

That’s right, Blog Indiana is coming to The Region! Let’s show them how we do things!

And, yes, you’ll be able to fully hear this one.

The event will also be simulcast at the Lafayette Tweetup – #laftwt – and the Indianapolis Tweetup – #indytweetup.

To keep in step with the simulcast, the event will begin sharply at 7pm so if you can, show up a little early.

February 2010 NWITweetup Format

At 7pm, the event will start with an introduction to the event and then will quickly follow with Dougas Karr’s informative lecture before the night ends with an open forum panel discussion.

And just when you think the night is done, the legendary #nwitweetup #aftertweetup begins!

As for the other pre-session question:

Wasn’t there just a NWITWeetup at the Golden Tech Boiler Room?

Yeah, we typically don’t try to have tweetups in the same location on consecutive months, but in the case we made the exception.

We were originally trying to plan the event at another location, but the details couldn’t be sorted out in time. Golden Technologies of Valparaiso was gracious enough to host the event once again, and keep us out of the jam. And we were originally going to have the nwitweetup at Uptown Cafe in Valparaiso, but the owners weren’t going to be out of town on the day of the event so we are going to reschedule them for next month (to be confirmed).

Do we really have to register for the Blog Indiana Valpo event?

Nope. The boys from Blog Indiana use the eventbrite registration event in order to get a headcount. If you would like to register, then please feel free.
