Transparency is everything. Most who don't usually are just trying to hide the bad but it will eventually come out. It all comes out in the end either way and usually the punishment isn't as harsh when you are honest.

Just note, that the original article received a mere 2 comments. This post is about the same.

Then when we got attacked and rounded up a defensive posse the comments swelled to 77 and retweets likewise. Keep the scenario in mind more than the guy who played his foolish hand into it and in doing so helped us all learn more about social media.

Thank you @daltonsbriefs, the legend. Forgiveness is always possible, but it has to be done through the steps of authenticity.

Though, I might delete this so as to protect my own ass :-P.

I'm an expert. I know these things. -P

Well said, it was great to see the community rush to the defense. I know what we are doing here is new and more places are picking up on it. I think it is evident in the RT's of the #nwitweetup message by nearly everyone, and I do mean nearly everyone.

I love our full disclosure of it all, I cannot think of a more transparent group. We really wear it out sleeves.
