Congrats Kathy Sipple – Indiana Social Media Summit Dame of the Year

Northwest Indiana was able to bring some hardware home from the Inaugural Indiana Social Media Summit – held at Scotty’s Brewhouse on 96th Street in Indianapolis on December 30th, 2009.

And when I say “Northwest Indiana,” I mean “Kathy Sipple.”

NWITweetup.com congratulates Kathy Sipple on being named 2009 Indiana Social Media Dame of the year according to the Indiana Social Media Summit. Kathy was one of several NWI Social Media personalities nominated, but was the only one able to bring home the hardware.

Kathy’s accomplishments also made NWITimes.com and the Examiner.

As Kathy mentioned on her Social Media Coach blog:

I’m sad to report that we didn’t win in the Social Media Dude category, though Dave Woodson, Steve Dalton and Rahsaan Taylor are all winners in my book! Up and Comers Nat Finn and Laurie Griffith did well in the polls, but didn’t get a trophy either. They both deserve trophies for what they have accomplished in social media this year, but hopefully will settle for a celebratory beverage from me.

Don’t worry, Kathy. We’ll be taking you up on that.
