Hey, NWITweeps,

A mad “thank you” goes out to everyone who participated in the #NWITweetup / Blog Indiana simulcast last Wednesday night. Not only to those who attended but also those who tweeted, watched the event from the web site, or sent good thoughts and tweets are way.

Leave it to Mother Nature to wait until we were traveling to the event before it decided to snow. I hope everyone made it out okay.

A special “thank you” goes out to Scott Dujmovich of Golden Technologies for opening up their “Boiler Room” and allowing us to play around with all the fun toys. Especially the classic Hockey Game.

As for the Blog Indiana audio

We got word from the folks at Blog Indiana that they had equipment issues and had to go to their backup camera at the last moment. The microphone they had didn’t work with the backup camera which meant that Erik Deckers, the presenter, couldn’t be properly mic-ed.

It was not their original intention to use the microphone on the camera.

Fortunately, if you watch the streaming video of Erik Decker’s Blog Indiana presentation on your computer, you’ll find that the audio is more than adequate.

Also, the Erik Deckers presentation is a great presentation. If you get a chance, again, it’s worth listening to.

Next NWITweetup

The next planned NWITweetup is to be determined. There is a big one planned, and we hoped to announce it Wednesday, but we had to hold off. Life happens.

As for the Tweetup that was to take place at Uptown Cafe in Valparaiso, that has been backed up because the owners will be out of town and they very much want to be there when the Tweetup happens.

We’ll have something nailed down soon.
