#NWITweetup Logo Design Contest (FINALLY Announced)

Finn finally finished getting the desired plugins onto the nwitweetup site and has finally, after two announcing he would do so twice, is announcing the NWITweetup Logo design contest.

The contest starts….now.

The rules are simple.

1. Unless we hear otherwise, submissions should be sent to nwitweetup@gmail.com no later than the start of the February 2010 Tweetup (which will be announced soon). If you are close but don’t have it quite right and still want more time, please let us know. Please make the image sent a jpeg, but have the original be a hi-res design that can be used in multifarious ways
2. The logo will be property of nwitweetup.com. The winner gets to claim credit for designing it, but nwitweetup.com gets to use it on the site and other online tools such as twitter, flickr, facebook…
3. The winner will receive a healthy supply of free food and drink from the nwitweetup.com admins – we’ll be extra generous – during the March 2010 NWITweetup. Knowing us, we’ll probably do it for the April Tweetup as well.
4. The winner’s design doesn’t guarantee that the logo will be used. More than like it will be – percent chances in the high 90% area. But who knows…CYA rule
5. Though a comp of nwitweetup.com isn’t in the contest, designing one with color scheme and logo doesn’t hurt your chances.
6. Once finalists are announced, the tweeps will be able to vote to decide the winner
